December 21, 2024: Jackson, TN 38305 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Union City Golden Tornadoes (Union City, TN) and the host Jackson Christian Eagles (Jackson, TN), observed Union City's basketball team knock off Jackson Christian by a score of 61-53.
The Golden Tornadoes (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Biggersville prevailed over Thrasher (Booneville, MS), 50-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Jackson Christian will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 11-0 record after their 54-32 non-league win over Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN).
