January 3, 2025: Vian, OK 74962 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Vian Wolverines (Vian, OK) and the visiting Okmulgee Bulldogs (Okmulgee, OK), observed Vian's basketball team knock off Okmulgee by a score of 52-41.
The Wolverines (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Stigler (Stigler, OK). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Stigler prevailed over Talihina (Talihina, OK), 58-33, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Catoosa Indians (Catoosa, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Okmulgee will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 38-31 league loss to Wagoner (Wagoner, OK).
