The Rondout Valley Ganders basketball squad (Accord, NY), was outscored 50-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Spackenkill Spartans (Poughkeepsie, NY)

With the victory, Spackenkill advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to New Paltz (New Paltz, NY) to meet the Huguenots in a Section 9 MHAL I battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Huguenots enter the battle with a record of 4-2. New Paltz won 49-42 in their recent non-league battle against Ellenville (Ellenville, NY)
