In Friday's non-league test, the Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Sanger Apaches (Sanger, CA), by a score of 53-42.

Next, the Chieftains encounter the Arroyo Grande Eagles (Arroyo Grande, CA) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 6. Sierra will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 8-3 record after their 58-14 non-league win over Newark Memorial (Newark, CA).

The Apaches (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA). The Wolf Pack come into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Ridgeview beat Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA), 43-38, in a non-league test.
