Tennessee High School Basketball - Sequatchie County succumbs to Van Buren County

In Friday's non-league test, the Van Buren County Eagles (Spencer, TN) basketball squad defeated the visiting Sequatchie County Indians (Dunlap, TN), by a final score of 64-51.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Monterey Wildcats (Monterey, TN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 7. Van Buren County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 1-10 record after their 51-40 non-league loss to Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY).

The Indians (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Sale Creek (Sale Creek, TN). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Sale Creek overcame Collegedale Academy (Collegedale, TN), 53-35, in a non-league test.
