Louisiana High School Basketball - Southside knocks off West St. Mary
January 3, 2025: Youngsville, LA In Friday's non-league contest, the host Southside Sharks basketball team scored a good 60-43 win over the West St. Mary Wolfpack.
The Sharks (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Kaplan (Kaplan, LA). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Kaplan dropped by North Vermilion (Maurice, LA), 52-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wolfpack battle the South Terrebonne Gators (Bourg, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. West St. Mary will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Gators come into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 39-34 non-league win over Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA).
