January 17, 2025: Baldwin, LA 70514 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the West St. Mary Wolfpack (Baldwin, LA) and the visiting Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA), observed West St. Mary's basketball team overwhelm Comeaux by a margin of 50-14.
The Wolfpack (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Houma Christian (Houma, LA). The Warriors come into the 2A District 7 challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Houma Christian was trounced by Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA), 46-43, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Comeaux will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 71-44 non-league loss to Northside (Lafayette, LA).
