November 19, 2024: Church Point, LA 70525 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA) and the visiting Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA), observed Church Point's basketball team knock off Comeaux by a score of 37-22.
The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, New Iberia dropped by Terrebonne (Houma, LA), 30-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Tigers (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 21. Comeaux will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 39-25 non-league win over Delcambre (Delcambre, LA).
