The Trinity Catholic Celtics basketball squad (Ocala, FL), was nudged 63-62 in Friday's non-league battle with the host The Villages Charter Buffalo (The Villages, FL)

With the victory, The Villages Charter advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Buffalo travel to P.K. Yonge (Gainesville, FL) to meet the Blue Wave in a non-league battle on Monday, January 6. The Blue Wave enter the battle with a record of 0-11. P.K. Yonge lost 86-17 in their recent non-league battle against Wildwood (Wildwood, FL)

The Celtics now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Florida Educational Institute for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4.
