Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 41-31 in a league match.

With the victory, Southeast Raleigh upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC) to face the Gryphons in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Gryphons enter the match with a record of 2-1. Rocky Mount lost 47-28 in their recent non-league match against Kinston (Kinston, NC)

The Bengals now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willow Spring for a match on Friday, January 17.
