California High School Basketball - Acalanes bests Pinole Valley
January 3, 2025: Lafayette, CA 94549 The Acalanes Dons basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Pinole Valley Spartans to 39 in the Dons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Dons now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Vintage for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Acalanes will play a Crushers team coming off a 33-32 non-league loss to Elite (Vallejo, CA). The Crushers record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Pinole Valley falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Bethel (Vallejo, CA) to play the Jaguars in a game on Tuesday, January 7. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 5-3. Bethel won 46-34 in their recent non-league game against Windsor (Windsor, CA)
