Virginia High School Basketball - Catholic can't hold off King's Fork
January 3, 2025: Suffolk, VA 23434 King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA), 60-54 in a non-league match.
With the victory, King's Fork advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 5-1.
The Crusaders now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Catholic will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 55-48 non-league win over Granby (Norfolk, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-1.
