January 30, 2023: Eau Claire, WI 54701 Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Lancers (Eau Claire, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Elmwood/Plum City Wolves (Elmwood, WI), 61-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host Cochrane-Fountain City (Fountain City, WI) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Cochrane-Fountain City won 53-35 in their recent non-league bout against Viroqua (Viroqua, WI)
Next up, the Wolves play the Glenwood City Hilltoppers (Glenwood City, WI) in a Dunn-St. Croix bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Elmwood/Plum City will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.
