Virginia High School Basketball - Grundy trounces Tazewell
January 30, 2023: Grundy, VA 24614 The Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA), 70-45 in Monday's non-league test.
The Golden Wave (10-8) will now prepare for their test against River View (Bradshaw, WV). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, River View was trounced by James Monroe (Lindside, WV), 80-27, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they travel to Marion for a Southwest test on Tuesday, January 31. Tazewell will encounter a Scarlet Hurricanes squad coming off a 74-65 league loss to Virginia High (Bristol, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes record now stands at 8-8.
