The H-L-V Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Twin Cedars Sabers to 29 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.

The Warriors now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host B-G-M for a South Iowa Cedar contest on Tuesday, January 31. H-L-V will battle a Bears team coming off a 78-36 non-league win over Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA). The Bears record now stands at 7-11.

The Sabers (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Saydel was routed by Roland-Story (Story City, IA), 73-45, in a league contest.
