January 30, 2023: Northfield, MA 01360 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Pioneer Valley Regional Panthers (Northfield, MA) and the visiting Lenox Memorial Millionaires (Lenox, MA), saw Pioneer Valley Regional's basketball squad wallop Lenox Memorial by a tally of 66-36.
With the victory, Pioneer Valley Regional improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Frontier Regional (South Deerfield, MA) to confront the Red Hawks in a Hampshire - North challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Red Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Frontier Regional won 70-63 in their recent league challenge against Hopkins Academy (Hadley, MA)
Next up, the Millionaires confront the Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA) in a Hampshire - North challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Lenox Memorial will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Senators come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 50-44 league loss to Hopkins Academy (Hadley, MA).
