Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) and the visiting Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), saw Montpelier's basketball squad wallop Lyndon Institute by a tally of 91-62.

With the victory, Montpelier improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Solons travel to Lake Region (Orleans, VT) to confront the Rangers in a Capital challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT) in a Capital challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Lyndon Institute will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
