Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN), 75-70 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Anoka upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Blaine (Blaine, MN) to play the Bengals in a AAAA Section 7 bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Bengals come into the bout with a record of 9-6. Blaine won 65-59 in their recent non-league bout against Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN)

Next up, the Falcons play the Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Robbinsdale Armstrong will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Royals come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 78-54 non-league win over Andover (Andover, MN).
