Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA), 51-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mountain View upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Forest City (Forest City, PA) to play the Foresters in a Lackawanna 4 bout on Thursday, February 2. The Foresters come into the bout with a record of 0-7.

Next up, the Raiders play the Susquehanna Sabers (Susquehanna, PA) in a Lackawanna 4 bout, on Monday, February 6. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Sabers come into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 49-17 non-league loss to Dunmore (Dunmore, PA).
