Michigan High School Basketball - Marysville tops Chippewa Valley
January 30, 2023: Clinton Township, MI 48038 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Marysville Vikings (Marysville, MI) and the host Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI), saw Marysville's basketball squad knock off Chippewa Valley by a tally of 41-25.
With the victory, Marysville improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Cousino (Warren, MI) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Cousino lost 31-24 in their recent league challenge against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI)
Next up, the Big Reds play the South Lake Cavaliers (St. Clair Shores, MI) in a Macomb Area - Gold challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Chippewa Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 48-39 league win over L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI).
