New York High School Basketball - Salem overwhelmed by Corinth
January 30, 2023: Corinth, NY 12822 The Salem Generals basketball team (Salem, NY), was overwhelmed 53-19 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Corinth Tomahawks (Corinth, NY)
The Tomahawks now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granville for a Section 2 Adirondack I battle on Tuesday, January 31. Corinth will confront a Golden Horde team coming off a 40-30 league win over Lake George (Lake George, NY). The Golden Horde record now stands at 6-8.
The Generals (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against North Warren Central (Chestertown, NY). The Cougars come into the Section 2 Adirondack II battle with a 1-13 record. In their last battle, North Warren Central was overwhelmed by Granville (Granville, NY), 51-29, in a league battle.
