Colorado High School Basketball - Berthoud crushes Platte Valley

Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO), 43-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Berthoud upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Eaton (Eaton, CO) to play the Reds in a bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Reds go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Eaton lost 30-17 in their recent league bout against University (Greeley, CO)

Next up, the Broncos play the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Platte Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 45-19 league win over Eaton (Eaton, CO).
