January 30, 2023: Slate Hill, NY 10973 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY) and the host Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY), saw Middletown's basketball squad overcome Minisink Valley by a tally of 37-25.
With the victory, Middletown improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Middie Bears travel to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY) to confront the Bushmen in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Bushmen come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Pine Bush lost 60-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Warwick (Warwick, NY)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Port Jervis Raiders (Port Jervis, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Minisink Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 39-33 non-league loss to Beacon (Beacon, NY).
