New York High School Basketball - Valley Central tops Minisink Valley
December 9, 2022: Montgomery, NY 12549 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) and the visiting Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY), saw Valley Central's basketball squad knock off Minisink Valley by a count of 27-14.
With the victory, Valley Central upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY) to play the Wizards in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Wizards come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Warriors play the Fallsburg Comets (Fallsburg, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Minisink Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 19-12 non-league loss to Rondout Valley (Accord, NY).
