January 30, 2024: Elkhorn, WI 53121 The Burlington Demons (Burlington, WI) basketball nipped the host Elkhorn Elks (Elkhorn, WI), 41-38 in Tuesday's league test.
The Demons (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Waterford (Waterford, WI). The Wolverines go into the Southern Lakes test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Waterford was tipped by Beloit Memorial (Beloit, WI), 72-59, in a non-league outing.
The Elks now hold a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Union Grove for a Southern Lakes outing on Friday, February 2. Elkhorn will clash with a Broncos squad coming off a 61-55 league win over Wilmot (Wilmot, WI). The Broncos record now stands at 4-14.
