New York High School Basketball - Colonie Central holds off Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake
January 30, 2024: Burnt Hills, NY 12027 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY) and the host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY), saw Colonie Central's basketball squad hold off Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake by a tally of 71-65.
With the victory, Colonie Central improves its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY) to confront the Flying Dutchmen in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Friday, February 2. The Flying Dutchmen come into the challenge with a record of 1-15. Guilderland lost 68-45 in their recent league challenge against Columbia (East Greenbush, NY)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Gray challenge, on Friday, February 2. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 82-58 league loss to Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY).
