New York High School Basketball - Christian Brothers Academy can't hold off Colonie Central
January 23, 2024: Albany, NY 12205 The Christian Brothers Academy Brothers basketball team (Albany, NY), was nudged 62-56 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY)
The Raiders now possess a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ballston Spa for a Section 2 Suburban - Gray battle on Friday, January 26. Colonie Central will battle a Scotties team coming off a 60-46 non-league loss to Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Scotties record now stands at 5-10.
The Brothers (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY). The Silver Warriors come into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Niskayuna was nudged by Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY), 59-54, in a league battle.
