January 30, 2024: Oakdale, TN 37829 The Oakdale Eagles (Oakdale, TN) basketball felled the visiting Coalfield Yellow Jackets (Coalfield, TN), 81-63 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Harriman (Harriman, TN). The Blue Devils go into the 1A District 4 test with a 17-1 record. In their last test, Harriman thwarted Jellico (Jellico, TN), 98-82, in a non-league test.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Sunbright for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Coalfield will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 68-55 non-league loss to Midway (Kingston, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 6-13.
