Louisiana High School Basketball - Doyline winner over Quitman
January 30, 2024: Doyline, LA 71023 The Doyline Panthers (Doyline, LA) basketball felled the visiting Quitman Wolverines (Quitman, LA), 57-41 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (18-3) will now prepare for their test against Weston (Jonesboro, LA). The Wolves go into the B District 1 test with a 14-12 record. In their last test, Weston was beaten by Castor (Castor, LA), 69-57, in a league test.
The Wolverines now own a 18-8 record. They play next when they travel to Castor for a B District 1 test on Friday, February 2. Quitman will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 44-42 non-league loss to Jonesboro-Hodge (Jonesboro, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-14.
