Florida High School Basketball - East Bay nips Middleton

East Bay Indians (Gibsonton, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Middleton Tigers (Tampa, FL), 54-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Bay upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Indians travel to Strawberry Crest (Dover, FL) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 4-20. Strawberry Crest won 65-42 in their recent non-league bout against Brandon (Brandon, FL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Chamberlain Storm (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Middleton will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 7-17 record after their 59-55 non-league loss to Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL).
