Illinois High School Basketball - Elgin edges Glenbard South
January 30, 2024: Elgin, IL 60120 The Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), 62-57 in Tuesday's league test.
The Maroons (8-16) will now prepare for their test against Fenton (Bensenville, IL). The Bison go into the Upstate Eight test with a 21-4 record. In their last test, Fenton was tipped by Glenbard East (Lombard, IL), 57-48, in a league test.
The Raiders now own a 15-10 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbard East for a Upstate Eight test on Friday, February 2. Glenbard South will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 57-48 league win over Fenton (Bensenville, IL). The Rams record now stands at 11-13.
