New York High School Basketball - Palmyra-Macedon knocked off by Geneva
January 30, 2024: Geneva, NY 14456 The Geneva Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders to 52 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midlakes for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest on Friday, February 2. Geneva will battle a Screaming Eagles team coming off a 84-44 league loss to Newark (Newark, NY). The Screaming Eagles record now stands at 4-11.
The Red Raiders (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne (Ontario Center, NY). The Eagles enter the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Wayne ran past Waterloo (Waterloo, NY), 72-39, in a league contest.
