Georgia High School Basketball - Highland Christian Academy topples Hamilton County
January 30, 2024: Valdosta, GA 31605 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Highland Christian Academy EAGLES (Valdosta, GA) basketball squad beat the visiting Hamilton County Trojans (Jasper, FL), by a count of 56-38.
The EAGLES (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA). The Wildcats go into the GIAA A Region 3 outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Crisp Academy was topped by Byne Christian (Albany, GA), 52-34, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now hold a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Lafayette for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 6. Hamilton County will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 55-53 non-league win over Suwannee (Live Oak, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 11-8.
