Mississippi High School Basketball - Seminary fells Hazlehurst
January 30, 2024: Seminary, MS 39479 Seminary Bulldogs (Seminary, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hazlehurst Indians (Hazlehurst, MS), 53-40 in a league bout.
With the win, Seminary upgrades its record to 3-19 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Crystal Springs (Crystal Springs, MS) to clash with the Tigers in a 3A Region 6 bout on Friday, February 2. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 12-12. Crystal Springs won 48-32 in their recent league bout against Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS)
Next up, the Indians clash with the Magee Trojans (Magee, MS) in a 3A Region 6 bout, on Friday, February 2. Hazlehurst will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 50-45 league win over Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS).
