Texas High School Basketball - Regents overwhelms Hyde Park
January 30, 2024: Austin, TX 78735 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Regents Knights (Austin, TX) and the visiting Hyde Park Panthers (Austin, TX), saw Regents's basketball squad wallop Hyde Park by a count of 63-39.
With the victory, Regents upgrades its record to 18-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Savio (Austin, TX) to play the Eagles in a TAPPS 5A District 3 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-16. Savio lost 65-33 in their recent league challenge against St. Michael's (Austin, TX)
Next up, the Panthers play the St. Michael's Crusaders (Austin, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 3 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Hyde Park will attempt to upgrade on its 11-16 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 29-1 record after their 65-33 league win over Savio (Austin, TX).
