Louisiana High School Basketball - Iota crushes South Cameron
January 30, 2024: Iota, LA 70543 Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Cameron Tarpons (Creole, LA), 84-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Iota upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA) to encounter the Bears in a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. The Bears go into the test with a record of 9-15. Highland Baptist Christian lost 61-46 in their recent league test against Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA)
The Tarpons now own a 3-19 record. They play next when they host Singer for a C District 4 test on Thursday, February 1. South Cameron will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 104-39 league win over Johnson Bayou (Cameron, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 19-10.
