Texas High School Basketball - Rockport-Fulton can't hold off Jones
January 30, 2024: Beeville, TX 78102 The Rockport-Fulton Pirates basketball team (Rockport, TX), was nudged 61-57 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Jones Trojans (Beeville, TX)
The Trojans now sport a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Oso for a 4A Region IV District 30 battle on Friday, February 2. Jones will battle a Bears team coming off a 61-53 league loss to Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX). The Bears record now stands at 15-12.
The Pirates (18-12) will now prepare for their battle against Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX). The Sandcrabs come into the 4A Region IV District 30 battle with a 1-21 record. In their last battle, Calhoun was nudged by Sinton (Sinton, TX), 66-40, in a league battle.
