Virginia High School Basketball - J.R. Tucker trounces Maggie Walker
January 30, 2024: Henrico, VA 23294 The J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA), 63-24 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Carver College and Career Academy walloped Mathews (Mathews, VA), 110-47, in a league test.
The now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Wilson Memorial for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. Maggie Walker will encounter a Green Hornets squad coming off a 58-35 league win over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Green Hornets record now stands at 9-6.
