Michigan High School Basketball - Kellogg ripped by Maple Valley
January 30, 2024: Vermontville, MI 49096 The Maple Valley Lions basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Kellogg Panthers to 39 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union City for a Big 8 contest on Friday, February 2. Maple Valley will meet a Chargers team coming off a 52-49 league loss to Springport (Springport, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 8-7.
The Panthers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Schoolcraft (Schoolcraft, MI). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Schoolcraft triumphed over Tri-Unity Christian (Wyoming, MI), 62-61, in a non-league contest.
