Louisiana High School Basketball - Lutcher holds off South Lafourche
January 30, 2024: Lutcher, LA 70071 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) and the visiting South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA), saw Lutcher's basketball squad hold off South Lafourche by a tally of 48-43.
With the victory, Lutcher improves its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host East St. John (Reserve, LA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 16-10. East St. John lost 68-64 in their recent league challenge against Hahnville (Boutte, LA)
Next up, the Tarpons confront the Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA) in a 4A District 7 challenge, on Friday, February 2. South Lafourche will attempt to improve on its 8-16 season record.
