Michigan High School Basketball - Manton holds off Northern Michigan Christian
January 30, 2024: Manton, MI 49663 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Manton Rangers (Manton, MI) and the visiting Northern Michigan Christian Comets (McBain, MI), saw Manton's basketball squad hold off Northern Michigan Christian by a tally of 56-50.
With the victory, Manton improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Rangers host Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to confront the Aggies in a Highland challenge on Friday, February 2. The Aggies come into the challenge with a record of 14-3. Beal City won 50-46 in their recent league challenge against Roscommon (Roscommon, MI)
Next up, the Comets confront the McBain Ramblers (McBain, MI) in a Highland challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Northern Michigan Christian will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 64-24 league win over Evart (Evart, MI).
