Oklahoma High School Basketball - Meeker nips Okemah
January 30, 2024: Meeker, OK 74855 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Meeker Bulldogs (Meeker, OK) and the visiting Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK), saw Meeker's basketball squad hold off Okemah by a tally of 61-58.
With the victory, Meeker improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Seminole (Seminole, OK) to play the Chieftains in a 66 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Seminole lost 59-47 in their recent league challenge against Prague (Prague, OK)
Next up, the Panthers play the Warner Eagles (Warner, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Okemah will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 43-31 league loss to Hulbert (Hulbert, OK).
