South Carolina High School Basketball - Newberry fells Saluda
January 30, 2024: Newberry, SC 29108 Newberry Bulldogs (Newberry, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Saluda Tigers (Saluda, SC), 68-60 in a league bout.
With the win, Newberry upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC) to play the Rebels in a AA Region 2 bout on Friday, February 2. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Mid-Carolina won 67-37 in their recent league bout against Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC)
Next up, the Tigers play the Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC) in a AA Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Saluda will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 66-54 league loss to Abbeville (Abbeville, SC).
