New Mexico High School Basketball - Bernalillo tops Los Alamos
January 30, 2024: Bernalillo, NM 87004 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) and the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), saw Bernalillo's basketball squad knock off Los Alamos by a count of 52-43.
With the victory, Bernalillo upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Albuquerque Academy won 50-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Los Alamos will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Sundevils come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 76-42 non-league win over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM).
