New Mexico High School Basketball - Espanola Valley tops Los Alamos
February 17, 2024: Los Alamos, NM 87544 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) and the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), saw Espanola Valley's basketball squad knock off Los Alamos by a count of 64-52.
With the victory, Espanola Valley upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Sundevils host Taos (Taos, NM) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Los Alamos will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 42-38 non-league loss to Moriarty (Moriarty, NM).
