California High School Basketball - Murrieta Valley nips Chaparral
January 30, 2024: Temecula, CA 92591 Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA), 63-61 in a league bout.
With the win, Murrieta Valley upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Temecula Valley (Temecula, CA) to play the Golden Bears in a bout on Friday, February 2. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-15. Temecula Valley lost 58-40 in their recent league bout against Great Oak (Temecula, CA)
Next up, the Pumas play the Vista Murrieta Broncos (Murrieta, CA) in a bout, on Friday, February 2. Chaparral will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 64-43 league win over Murrieta Mesa (Murrieta, CA).
