Oregon High School Basketball - Alsea edges Mapleton
January 30, 2024: Mapleton, OR 97453 The Alsea Wolverines (Alsea, OR) basketball nipped the host Mapleton Sailors (Mapleton, OR), 37-34 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolverines (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Mohawk (Marcola, OR). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 14-7 record. In their last test, Mohawk got by Crow/City First Christian Academy (Eugene, OR), 40-16, in a league test.
The Sailors now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Triangle Lake for a 1A Mountain West test on Thursday, February 1.
