Bickleton Pirates (Bickleton, WA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lyle/Wishram Cougars (Lyle, WA), 42-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bickleton upgrades its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Pirates host Horizon Christian (Hood River, OR) to play the in a 1A Big Sky bout on Wednesday, January 31. The come into the bout with a record of 4-10. Horizon Christian lost 50-23 in their recent league bout against Sherman (Moro, OR)

Next up, the Cougars play the Open Door Christian Academy Huskies (Troutdale, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Lyle/Wishram will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record.
