Maine High School Basketball - York overwhelms Cape Elizabeth
January 30, 2024: York, ME 03909 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the York Wildcats (York, ME) and the visiting Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME), saw York's basketball squad wallop Cape Elizabeth by a tally of 45-17.
With the victory, York improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME) to confront the Clippers in a B South challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Clippers come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Yarmouth won 46-39 in their recent league challenge against Wells (Wells, ME)
Next up, the Capers confront the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) in a B South challenge, on Friday, February 2. Cape Elizabeth will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 46-39 league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME).
