The Cedar Reds basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Desert Hills Thunder to 53 in the Reds league triumph on Tuesday.

The Reds now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crimson Cliffs for a 4A Region 9 contest on Thursday, February 1. Cedar will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 66-39 league loss to Snow Canyon (St. George, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-14.

The Thunder (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hurricane (Hurricane, UT). The Tigers enter the 4A Region 9 contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Hurricane nudged Dixie (St. George, UT), 37-34, in a league contest.
